Conor Lynch

Who Am I?

As I made friends with the dark
You were the light above my door;
As I emit my own rays
I've not forgotten.

As you fingered my page
And I mumbled a sound;
How I've learnt
I've not forgotten.

As you eyed the coat you never had
And forgot the trip you never made;
All foregone but
I've not forgotten.

As you reflect on all you've done
What's come and seemingly gone;
You are who I am,
I've not forgotten.
