God
Fearing Souls
What
if, one by one
Everything starts to go away
Each thing destroyed
In its turn, by time
All the small things
Unimportant and faded
All the large things
Misinterpreted
In
ignorance
Transparent thoughts
Of omnipotence
There being only One
Fallacy,
ineptitude
Time passing, swiftly
I'd rather you keep silent
Lying like everyone else
Promises, unkept
Don't expect sympathy
No
trust left to taste
Don't close your eyes
And disappear, tonight
With light shining
Off ignorant brows
Of a lunatic mob
Betrayals
unaltered
Everyone hides in fear
Stay out of site, later
When monsters hunt
Flying for your throat
Ask,
beg for forgiveness
Pledge your service
Eat crow and kneel
Behind a bricked up wall
Fearing the beginning and end
You can't hold your own
