Welcome to issue 14 of Electric Acorn, the twice yearly ezine of the Dublin Writers Workshop. Once again it's packed with the best writing from Ireland and abroad.

I'm particularly excited by the number of new Irish writers in this issue. It's always been EA's policy to encourage new Irish writing - the only difficulty was getting them to submit anything! But the trend is improving and I'm getting more and more submissions from Irish writers, I'm pleased to say.
