No
chance
I
had a friend,
a good friend of the spirit
After
saying all that was to say,
Sorting all there was to sort,
He stood on the edge of the world
Looking into nothing.
All
he needed was my hand held out
To draw him back and keep him here.
Unfortunately,
I wasn't there.
