Realm of Reason

In the realm of reason I tread;
Well at least I like to think so,
And from this course I'll not be lead -
Decisions I'll make with my head.

All of my options I'll peruse,
Examining the ebb and flow;
And exchanging different views -
It's with caution I'll pick and choose.

Conservative in choice I'll be,
Certain that all the facts I know;
Until the view I clearly see,
And no surprises will bite me.

Truly the hand must fit the glove,
And I'll pace myself in time slow;
Yes I'll live my life as above,
In all these matters, except love.
